Hey everyone!

I am an OT student in my third year at the College of Saint Mary. I just finished a literature review for one of my classes explaining National Backpack Awareness Day and it's focus on spinal injuries in children and adolescents. I am happy to now be a part of AOTA OT Connections. I hope that the new connections I make, and the relationships I form will become helpful to me as I continue my education and career.

Sandi, It is great that you finished your literature review. Perhaps you
would be willing to share it with all of us? It is great that you have
joined this group. I am looking forward to Backpack Awareness Day this
Wednesday. We have an event at a school and 42 OT students will be
participating in the event with me. I welcoming learning about other
people's events and am happy to assist you in anyway possible. All my
best, Karen
