Happy Friday, OT Connectors!
I was toodling around OT Connections, as I like to do, and came across the alecekaplan blog, with a post about National Health Care Day of Service. Looks like it is tomorrow (yup, tomorrow, June 27th), so it might be too late, but it might not. If a day of service is something that interests you—Democrats and Republicans alike—it could be a good opportunity to dive into an activity.
Also, great to see that getting the word out about OT isn’t just something we’re working on here in America, but they’re working on it across the pond as well! Any British counterparts on OT Connections? Would love to hear from you if there are….
Other than that, we’re just chugging along here at HQ. I’ve been finishing up a couple of features for upcoming issues of OTP (and by upcoming I mean a few months down the road, since we have a pretty lengthy lead time), and since I manage the production of four (yup, count ‘em, four) SIS Quarterlies, I’m getting ready to jump into the December Quarterlies with a new set of editors and chairpersons (chairpeople? That sounds odd….like some sort of newfangled evil being that is in cahoots with the People Under the Stairs or some such…) ANYHOO, that’s the haps from here in Bethesda. What’s happening in your neck of the woods?
